Dr. Dee: Gen X Momma
Dr. Amanda Dee Baes graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2008. As the founder of Healing Hands Chiropractic, she has created the ultimate space for exceptional personalized family health care. For nearly 20 years, she’s specialized in pregnancy & pediatrics as a member of the International Chiropractic and Pediatric Assoc. (ICPA), and spent several years as the official chiropractor for MTSU athletics. She speaks the truth, is quick to pray for you, and delivers the best adjustments around. She is blessed with an amazing husband Michael and two beautiful girls. Around here we celebrate the Lord Jesus Christ, Tennessee Vols & Green Bay Packer’s Football.
Dr. Kate: The Old Soul
Dr. Kate Cardel graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2022, and has worked at Healing Hands ever since. She is ICPA Webster Certified for care of the perinatal population, as well as extensively trained in Pediatrics and Extremities. She is a Murfreesboro native, and currently resides nearby with her husband Jeremy, sweet boy Wesley, and dog Nova. When she is not at the clinic, she spends her free time at the gym, reading a good book, planning out next season’s garden, and getting outdoors. You will also find her plugged in at Trinity Presbyterian Church!
Beth: The Mayor
Hey y’all! I’m Beth. I’m a little bit of the jack of all trades at the office. I’ve been with Healing Hands for almost a decade and love every part of it. I love meeting everyone and learning about our patients (making you feel more like a friend to me!) I want to do all I can to help you in any way I can. I love being a momma, spending time with my husband and daughter outside of the office, staying active, and am a proud thrifting queen. I can’t wait to meet you!
Johna: Task Wrangler
Johna is our wonderful office manager. She loves getting to know people and is always ready to answer your questions to the best of her ability. If she doesn’t know an answer, she will find out. Johna has many other pursuits she tackles on a regular basis including volunteer work with local nonprofits as well as serving at her church in their middle school ministry. Johna and her husband, Mark, enjoy exploring the country in their RV with their 3 kids and 2 dogs as much as their schedule allows!
Sofia: Account Wizzard
Sofia joined HHC after her own experience as a one of our pregnant patients. She loved how good she felt and how it helped her body with baby number three. Sofia is originally from the beautiful mountains of Colorado. In her free time (Ha! who has free time with 3 kids…) she spends it with her husband, small groups at church, going on hikes, and running around with all the kids’ activities.
Leah: Receptionist Extraordinaire
Leah is excited to join the Healing Hands Chiropractic team after being a patient for over 7 years. She is eager to get to know patients and how she can help them. She is passionate about serving in her church and about holistic health. She and her husband homeschool their three children and in her spare time she loves to thrift, read, and live a semi-crunchy lifestyle.
Larissa: CTA Pro
Larissa is a certified Chiropractic Therapy Assistant based in Middle Tennessee, focused on supporting therapy needs with care and compassion. She’s a wife of 13 years and mom of two who loves God, family time, and traveling. In her free time, you’ll find her flower gardening, photographing birds and lightning, or diving into new creative projects.
Leo: Chief of Security
Leo knows people and will definitely judge your character to determine if you’re worthy of scratches and butt rubs. His first priority is protection so he will only come to you on his terms. Please don’t try to go to him, let him come to you. He is Dr. Dee’s shadow and will guard her wherever she is in the clinic.
